Japan Health Navigator (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides online health navigation and educational support services. We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions, and we do not submit insurance claims. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity because we do not engage in clinical practice or insurance-related electronic transactions. Nevertheless, we remain committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with this policy.

When you contact us or request a consultation, we may collect: (1) your name and contact information, including your email address and phone number; (2) your country of residence and preferred language; and (3) the general category of your inquiry, such as questions about symptoms or choosing a healthcare provider. Our website forms do not ask you to provide detailed symptoms, diagnoses, or medical history. If you voluntarily share additional health information by email or during a consultation, we use it only to provide the service you requested. We may also collect limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to maintain and improve our website.
